The new Industrial Hubs

Dewas & Siya industrial growth centers are spread in the area of 120 hectares and 78 hectares respectively. Both are situated on National Highway No. 3 and are closely connected to Dewas. Indore and Pithampur. Both the growth centers are just at a 42 kms. drive from the Indore airport. Dewas is directly connected to Indore through a bypass road.

Dewas was one of the first few earmarked areas for setting up an industrial growth center and hence houses a good number of industries, some of which are internationally acclaimed. Dewas is also known for housing a large number of soya extraction, solvent plants, and cattle & poultry feed plants. With over 14 LMI and 13 SSI working at full capacity, Dewas industrial center has attracted a huge investment of over 1277.5 million and now it provides employment to approximately 2700 people.

Industrial giants like TATA, S. Kumars, Ranbaxy Laboratories, H&R Johnson, Johnson Pedder, British Motor and others are based here. Dewas is situated in the soya rich belt of Madhya Pradesh and hence has over 15 soya units or oil extraction plants. Similarly, Dewas also houses many engineering units, chemical plants, pharmaceutical units and other industrial manufacturing facilities.

The educational facility at Dewas include PG colleges, girls college and convent schools. Similarly, it is very close to Indore where education is par excellence. This also ensures availability of skilled, qualified, well trained manpower with/without technical education.

Dewas also has the pride of having the currency note printing unit- Bank Note Press. BNP is a Ministry of Finance, Government of India undertaking, it is the only operational PSU in Dewas and it presently employs around 3000 people.

Dewas, because of the presence of the industrial gaints like TATA, Ranbaxy, H&R Johnson etc. has already acquired national repute. Similarly, Dewas also has one of the largest and most complete manufacturing facility of the largest pump manufacturers of India, Kirloskar Pumps.

The closest custom bonded wareshouses are Indore and Maksi. This facility ensurers easy and smooth availablity of raw materials and storage of production.

The civic infrastructure of Dewas is also well developed.
